• If the charger has been dropped and the casing is damaged in any

way, unplug the charger from the power outlet and contact your
dealer. Do not continue to use the charger as this could result in fire
or electrical shock.

• Do not use charger at voltages other than specified (100-240V AC).

Usage outside the specified range may cause fire or electrical shock.

• Do not use the charger near water or outdoors.
• Unplug the charger before cleaning. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
• Do not attempt to service the charger yourself. Opening or removing

covers may expose you to dangerous voltage points or other risks.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

• Never push any sharp, pointed, or conductive object into the charger.
• Use the type of power source indicated on the charger.
• Do not charge with the battery positive and negative poles reversed

in the charger.

• Do not allow anything to rest on the charger.
• Unplug the charger from the power outlet when not in use.
• Do not use the charger if the power plug is loose or damaged.
• Do not use the charger as a DC power supply.
• Do not charge batteries or leave the charger next to a heat source.

Charge in areas where temperature is 0° to 40° C (32° to 104° F).

• The charger and battery can become warm during charging.

This is normal.

• Do not position the charger near a television or radio. Static

may occur.

• Use and store the charger and batteries out of reach of children.
• Do not use this K5000 Battery Charger with a travel transformer.
