CAUTION BEFORE FIRST USE

• Please read all of the instructions for use and the Important

Safeguards carefully.

• The iron has been greased, and as a result, the iron may slightly

smoke when switched on for the first time. After a short while, this
will cease.

• Before using for the first time, remove all packaging from the

appliance. Clean the soleplate with a soft cloth.

• When starting, and while it is being used, the electric pump injects

water into the boiler. It makes a noise but this is normal. If you are
pressing on the steam control trigger at this time, you may lose a
little steam for a few seconds.

HINTS

• Before using the appliance for the first time or if you have not used

the steam function for a few minutes, press the steam control
trigger several times in a row while holding the iron away from your
clothes. This will enable any cold water to be removed from the
steam connection cord

• For best results, use a mesh type ironing board to allow excess

steam to escape.

IRONING: PRECAUTION FOR USE AND
TEMPERATURES

• Always check first if a label with ironing instructions is attached to

the article that needs to be ironed. Follow these ironing
instructions in all cases.

• If ironing instructions are missing but you know the kind of fabric,

then see the table for recommended ironing temperatures.
