Body Armor
ABBA-5
This armored vest was designed to protect the media reporter when on location
in high-risk situations. Optimal weight distribution and flexibility allow free
movement without compromising maximum protection. The ABBA-5 offers
protection against shrapnel & knives, as well as pistol, sub-machine gun, and
in the areas of the Ceramic Plates it also provides protection against high-
velocity bullets. Unlike other anti-bullet vests, KATA’s Body Armor offers
protection for the sides of the torso as well as chest and back. (* Available in
four sizes: S, M, L, XL)

ABBA-1
ABBA-1 provides the same protection levels as the ABBA-5. It is designed to
be worn close to the body under normal clothing, thus allowing free movement
without compromising maximum protection, while providing optimal weight
distribution.
The ABBA-1 also features full-protection areas for the chest and back and
for the sides of the torso, covering those weak points often left unprotected.
If worn externally the “Press” sign can be added.
