12 - CAUSES FOR OPERATING FAILURES OR ANOMALIES (TROUBLESHOOTING)
PROBLEM
The coffee dosing grinder does not
switch on
Mechanical block
Motor block
The dosing device does not run
The dosing lever does not move
backward
Very thin powder mixed with
bigger fragments
CAUSE
1. Electric plug disconnected
2. Electricity does not reach the equipment
1. Presence of a foreign body between the
grinding parts
1. The equipment is overheated
2. In the event of single-phase equipment
1. Gearing spring breakdown
1. Backward spring breakdown
1. Grinding parts are used
SOLUTION
1. Insert the plug into the socket
2. Check the electricity supply cable
1. Remove any foreign body from the grinding
parts, by slightly loosening the regulation ring nut
and then re s t a rt; subsequently tighten the re g u l a t i o n
ring nut according to its original position.
1. Let the equipment cool down before restarting it
2. Replace the condenser

Before the substitution of the grinding parts the quantity of the grinded coffee should be approximately
of 400 Kg.
According to the daily use, the substitution should be done in accordance with the following:
1 Kg. of coffee per day: substitution once a year
2-3 Kg. of coffee per day: substitution every 6-7 months
4-6 Kg. of coffee per day: substitution every 3-4 months
