Troubleshooting and Tips
The player can’t read the disc or NO DISC displays in the LCD:
! The disc is scratched or dirty. Try a better quality disc.
! Water condensation has occurred in the lens. Place the player indoors for several hours.
! Check if the disc is loaded upside down.
There is no sound coming from the earphone:
! The earphone cord may be broken.
! The earphone jack may be dirty.
! Check the volume setting.
When you press a button, HOLD displays in the LCD:
! Switch RESU/NOR/HOLD to NOR or RESU.
After reading the disc, “00-00:00” flashes and “NO FILE” displays in the LCD.
! There are no files in the MP3 DISC. Please change the disc or press PLAY >|| to try again.
! The disc is scratched or dirty. Please change the disc or press PLAY >|| to try again.
Batteries can only be used for very short time.
! Zn-Mn batteries are being used. Replace them with alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries.
! The batteries’ life is expired. Replace the batteries.
The time display moves erratically when playing MP3 CDs:
! You may be playing VBR (Variable Bitrate) MP3s.
