Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the LINDY 8 Port HDMI 1.3b Splitter. This device is a high performance HDMI
amplifier and splitter which allows a single HDMI source to be displayed simultaneously on up to 8
different displays.

Built in EDID simulator and HDCP keyset allows each output to work independently when
connecting to an HDMI display

Supports both DVI source and display devices when using DVI/HDMI adapter cables

The input/output distances can be up to 15m with 8 bit colour depth and 10m with 12 bit colour
depth (when using LINDY Premium Gold Cables)

Connections & Operation

Make sure all devices are switched off before connecting any equipment! Once all the connections have
been made, switch on the devices in this order: displays, HDMI Splitter, source device.



























HDMI Output – Connect your displays to the 8 HDMI output
ports

8/12 Bit – Supports 8/12 bit deep colour. Only available when
EDID setting is in STD mode
2 CH/Multi CH – Supports 2 Channel or Multi Channel Audio.
Only available when EDID setting is in STD mode

STD/TV – STD mode will allow you to adjust deep colour &
audio channels. TV mode will allow the EDID information to be
sent from the source
Sys Reset – System reset function

Power – Power Switch

HDMI Input – Connect to your source equipment

Note: When using both 8 & 12 bit displays, make sure
the splitter is set to 8 bit. If all the displays are 8 bit or
12 bit then set the splitter accordingly. The splitter will
not detect individual colour depths on your displays.
