Paper misfeeds or multiple sheets feed through the printer
Make sure:
• Your paper is recommended for inkjet printers.
• You don’t load too much paper into the sheet feeder. Depending on the thickness of
the paper, the sheet feeder can hold up to 100 sheets of paper. For help, see
Basic
printing .
• You don’t force the paper into the printer. Align the top edge of letter size paper with
the top of paper support.
• The paper support is fully extended.
• The paper guide is against the left edge of the paper.
• The paper guide does not cause the paper to bow in the sheet feeder.
• The printer is on a flat, level surface.
• The printer settings you have chosen are correct for the type of document you are
