What’s more, for versions without RoomPerfect™, the TDAI-2200’s DSP section can also be
used for simple but effective room correction/equalization since it also features:-
1. A global equalizer for overall room equalization
2. Separate equalizers for each signal (main/high pass and line/low pass) and channel (left and
right) to compensate for shortcomings in the audio chain.
3. A very powerful ‘broadband’ voicing equalizer for the main signal allowing you to ‘tilt’ the
sonic balance to your personal preferences.
4. Gain control (left/right and main/line channel) for optimum balance adjustment.
5. Delay control (left/right and main/line channel) for optimum time alignment (ensures that
the sound from different drivers or speakers will arrive simultaneously at the listening
position).
The DSP Software suite is freeware with the TDAI-2200. You can download this from

The TDAI-2200 can become an even more powerful tool if you use the optional ATB PC
measurement system. The ATB system is a low-cost, high-precision acoustic test and
measurement system that interfaces with the TDAI-2200’s DSP Software suite. With the ATB
system in place you can carry out ‘before and after’ measurements to identify acoustic
problems in your room and then confirm that the corrections made in the DSP have corrected
the things you wanted them to.
