On power up means the phone is locked when it is
turned on.
Always means that the phone is always locked.
Restrict (Menu )
1. Press Soft Key 1 Menu and then press Settings.
2. Press Security.
3. Enter the four-digit Lock code.
4. Press Restrict.
5. Select No or Yes with and then press Soft Key 1
Ok.
If you set it to Yes you can only place calls to emergency
numbers and phone numbers stored in the phone book.
You can still receive calls in the restrict mode.
Emergency # (Menu )
You can call emergency numbers and 911,even when
the phone is locked or restricted. To enter 3 emergency
numbers:
1. Press Soft Key 1 Menu and then press Settings.
2. Press Security.
3. Enter the four-digit Lock code.
4. Press Emergency#.

Security (Menu )
Lock Mode (Menu )
Protects your phone from unauthorized use. Once the
phone is locked, it is in restricted mode until the lock code
is entered. This allows you to receive phone calls and still
make emergency calls. The lock code is commonly the
last 4 digits of your phone number.
You can modify the lock code using the New Lock code
within the Security menu.
1. Press Soft Key 1 Menu and then press Settings.
2. Press Security.
3. Enter the four-digit Lock code.
4. Press Lock Mode.
5. Select an option with and then press Soft Key 1
Ok.
Never means that the phone is never locked.
When locked, you can receive incoming
calls or make only emergency calls.
