Instant Messaging Taking Pictures Multimedia Messaging Getting to Know Your Phone
Capture everything around you in vivid detail through
the VGA camera with up to 4x zoom *. Then share it
instantly with friends via multimedia messaging.
1. From standby mode, press the Camera Key.
2. Press left or right on the Navigation Key to adjust
brightness and up or down for zoom * . Press the
Right Soft Key to adjust image size, self timer,
multishot and other options.
3. Press to take the picture.
4. To send your picture, press the Left Soft Key for
Send. Add text to personalize your message, then
press to enter recipients. To choose a contact from
your address book, press .
5. Press the Left Soft Key to send.
* Supports 1x, 2x or 4x depending on image size. Increasing image size will
reduce the number of images stored at one time. Camera setting of 640x480
does not support zoom function.
If you subscribe to an instant messaging (IM) service such
as AOL, MSN, Yahoo! or ICQ, you can take the fun and
convenience of IM on the go with your mobile phone.
1. From standby mode, press right on the Navigation Key to
access IM.
2. Highlight the IM community you want to enter and press .
3. The first time you enter a community, enter your Screen
Name/ID or E-mail and your Password and press .
4. Select a contact that is currently online and press .
5. Enter your message and press to send. To end a chat,
select Option, then End Conversation (3).
Screens vary by IM community.
Note: When you receive an incoming instant message, a “new
message” icon similar to this one will appear on the screen.

1. From standby mode, press the Left Soft Key for Menu,
then select Messaging (2).
2. Select New Message (1), then Multimedia (2).
3. Write your message, then press the Right Soft Key for
Options. Select Insert (1) and press .
4. Choose Graphic (2) to access your photo album or
Audio (3) to add a short audio. Select the desired photo
or sound and press .
5. Press to enter recipients. To choose a contact from
your address book, press .
6. Select a contact and press . Then press again to send.
