FEATURES AND CONTROLS

Auxiliary Foot Brake

Aggressively applying the auxiliary rear brake when backing down a hill may

cause rear tipover, which could result in serious injury or death. Never back

down a hill.
Use caution when applying the auxiliary brake. Do not aggressively apply the

auxiliary brake when going forward. The rear wheels may skid and slide

sideways, causing loss of control, which may result in serious injury or death.

The auxiliary brake serves as a

backup to the main brake sys-

tem if the main system

becomes inoperative.
The auxiliary foot brake is

located on the inside of the

right footrest. Operate this

brake with your right foot.
If the rear wheels slide while

using the auxiliary brake,

reduce brake pedal pressure to

brake the rear wheels without

skidding.
