MAINTENANCE

Taillight/Brakelight Lamp

Replacement

If the taillight/brakelight does not work the
lamp may need to be replaced.

1. From the rear of the taillight remove two

screws holding lens cover in place and

remove lens cover.

2. Remove lamp and replace it with recom-

mended lamp.

3. Test the taillight/brakelight to see that it’s

working.

4. Reinstall the lens cover removed in step 1.

Indicator Lamp Replacement - Style I

1. With a small, flat screwdriver gently pry

loose the indicator light cover.

2. Using a small flexible tube (such as an

oil delivery hose) grasp the burned out

lamp and remove it.

3. Replace the removed lamp with a Polar-

is PN 4030042 (Sylvania PN 12POL).

4. Replace the indicator light cover.

Indicator Lamp Replacement - Style II

1. Follow steps 1 - 3 of Headlight Housing

Replacement on previous page.

2. Unplug light from harness, depress lock-

ing tabs and remove from pod.

3. Install new light and reassemble pod.
