DSL Router Traps

The table below lists the traps supported by the DSL router. All traps are defined
with a severity of Critical, Major, Minor, Warning, or Normal. By default, all traps
are initially disabled.

The authenticationFailure trap
signifies an event where access
has been attempted and failed.
There are several conditions
that can cause an
Authentication Failure trap, such
as three failed attempts to login.

Warning

The configuration has changed
via the user interface or an
SNMP Manager. The trap is
sent immediately, providing
there has been no CCN trap for
30 minutes. This suppresses the
sending of numerous traps

made in a short period of time.

Major

An internal device failure has
been detected by the operating
software for the DSL router.
