Line Status—Configuration

Clicking on the

Line Status—Configuration

link in the T1/E1 Link Activity window displays the

WAN Circuit

Configuration

window (see figure 44). This window contains general information about the DS1 interface,

including the type of line (D4 Superframe or Extended Superframe), and kind of line coding (B8ZS or AMI).
To modify the WAN circuit configuration, click on the

Modify…

link. For more information about modifying

WAN circuit settings, refer to “WAN Circuit Configuration—Modify” on page 123.

Click on the

Modify

link to change the settings of any of the follow-

ing parameters (see “WAN Circuit Configuration—Modify” on
page 123).

The

WAN Circuit Configuration

window also displays the amount of time that has passed and the number of

intervals passed during which valid data was collected.

Time Elapsed (dsx1TimeElapsed)

The number of seconds that have elapsed since the beginning of the current error-measurement period.

Valid Intervals (dsx1ValidIntervals)

The number of previous intervals for which valid data was collected. The value will be 96 unless the interface
was brought on-line within the last 24-hours, in which case the value will be the number of completed 15-
minute intervals since the interface has been online. Statistics are collected for up to the last 24 hour period
broken down into 96 individual 15-minute intervals.
