Description

This becomes active when the VTR is in the FF mode.

This becomes active when the VTR is in the REW mode.

This becomes active when the VTR is in the STOP mode.

This becomes active when the RS-422 REMOTE status is
ON.

This becomes active when a cassette tape has not been
inserted.

Refer to the 50P error status output table on the previous
page. (This pin is related with pins 21 and 24.)

This becomes active when the preroll or cue-up operation
has been completed. However, the active status is
released when the VTR has moved from the STBY ON or
OFF operation to another operation.

This becomes active when 50P parallel control is enabled.

This becomes active when the VIDEO/CTL recording
setting for CASSETTE INH has been set to inhibit.
(However, the active status is forcibly released when
CASSETTE INH 2 [pin 45] is set to ACTIVE.)

This becomes active when CTL has been detected at the
PRE CTL head during normal recording at the PRE CTL
setting.

Note: This will not become active even if CTL has been

detected during recording (EDIT REC) or PLAY
while editing is being performed.
In the same way, it will not become active even if
CTL has been detected during normal recording
when the home menu function (REC INH) setting
has been set to FREE.

This becomes active when CASSETTE INH has been set
to the all recording inhibit status.

This becomes active when the VTR has been placed in
the STBY ON status.
The ACTIVE lamp flashes (at 2-second intervals) starting
30 seconds before the VTR is transferred to the loosing mode.
It flashes (at 0.5-second intervals) starting 10 seconds
before the VTR is transferred to the STBY OFF mode.
