Using the battery
Installation
Insert the battery until it clicks into place.
Removal

Set the POWER/Mode selector switch to
OFF, and check that the mode lamps are
off. (Page 25)

Remove the battery while pressing the
battery release button.
Support the battery with your hand to
ensure that it will not fall.

Installation

Insert the DC cable’s battery connector
until it clicks into place.

Connect the AC power supply cable.
Connect the AC power supply cable in the
order and .

Remove the DC cable’s battery connector
while pressing the battery release button.

Disconnect the AC power supply cable
from the power outlet.
CAUTION:
Disconnect the AC power supply cable from
the power outlet when the unit is not going
to be used.
When the AC power supply cable is
disconnected from the power outlet, the
power lamp on the AC adaptor remains
lit for a while then shuts off. This is not a
malfunction. •
