TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM

CAUSE

Engine will not
start

1.

Low on fuel or oil.

2.

Ignition switch in "Off"
position.

3.

Faulty spark plug.

4.

Choke in wrong position.

5.

Fuel shut-off valve in
closed position

6.

Unit loaded during start-
up.

Add fuel or oil.

Turn to "ON" position

Replace spark plug.

Adjust choke accordingly.

Open fuel shut-off valve.

Remove load from unit.

Faulty receptacle.
