Change the frequency step according to the area.
Preparation: Press [RADIO/BAND] to switch on the power.

Changing the sound quality

Try various directions to obtain
optimum reception.

The headphones/earphones cord is
also the FM antenna, so extend it instead of leaving it coiled.
Set to “MONO” when there is noise during FM reception.
Sound becomes monaural, but noise is reduced.
Each time you press [FM MODE MONO/ST]

To receive an FM broadcast clearly
Set to “CITY” if reception is poor or if there is interference from another
station.

1 Attaching the unit base.

2 Fitting cords into place on bottom of the unit base, and
connecting the grey cord to [SP IN].
3 Placing the main unit on the unit base and connecting the
other cords.
4 Press [OPR] to turn the speakers on.

∫ The rechargeable batteries are also recharged in the unit base while the unit is off.
∫ Turning off the speaker [OPR] does not turn the power off. Press [∫ OPR OFF]
on the main unit (twice when playing a CD) to turn the power off.
∫ These speakers do not have magnetic shielding. Keep them away from
televisions, computers, and other items easily affected by magnetism.
Operations are the same using or not using the unit base and speakers.
