Other Logical Drive Features

Stripe Block Size

The choices are 32K, 64K and 128K. 64K is the default. This selection will
directly affect performance. There are two issues to consider when selecting the
stripe block size.

Good aggregate transfer rate

High reliability

Supports large volume sizes

Higher disk overhead than RAID 5

Enables you to manage a large number
of disk drives from a single controller

An alternative to RAID without any

environments
