Using the remote control

Keep in mind the following when using the
remote control:

• Make sure that there are no obstacles

between the remote and the remote sensor
on the unit.

• The remote has a range of about 7 m at an

angle of about 30º from the remote sensor.

• Remote operation may become unreliable

if strong sunlight or fluorescent light is
shining on the unit’s remote sensor.

• Remote controllers for different devices

can interfere with each other. Avoid using
remotes for other equipment located close
to this unit.

• Replace the batteries when you notice a

fall off in the operating range of the remote.

Display

TRACK – Lights when the track number is

indicated.

/ – Light during playback/when paused.

Scan display – Shows the scan speed.

SACD – Lights during SACD playback.

LEGATO – Lights when Legato Link Pro is

switched on (page 14).

(ALL) REPEAT/RANDOM/PGM – Light to

indicate the playback mode (page 13).

Character display

TOTAL/REMAIN – Indicate the disc/track

information currently displayed (page 14).
