Processing Error Messages
This message may appear during an erase operation when the operation is
interrupted. This can happen due to cable connection errors, or accidental
disconnect.
1. Click Cancel
2. Close all open windows.
3. Save any work in other
running applications.
4. You will need to Restart
your computer to reset the
values.
This message may appear during a download
operation when the operation is interrupted. This
can happen due to cable connection errors, or
accidental disconnect.
1. Confirm cable connections.
2. Power -up Push power button on
scanner.
3. Click Retry

Points to Remember Before You Scan
To obtain the best scan results, note the following:
The document you scan must be well supported on a smooth flat, clean, &
stable surface.
It is recommended that you hold the top of the document with one hand while
you scan with the other.
Hold document Hold the Scanner flat, Do Not tilt
Typically scanning from top of document down
1. Place your document on a smooth, flat, clean surface.
2. Place the DocuPen™ just above the area you want to scan, with the LED
indicator lights on the left side of the document to be scanned.
3. Press the DocuPen™ ’s Power
button once for standard resolution this
places the unit in “ready” mode” for
scanning in default Standard mode
(100 dpi).
