• Protect the Picture(s) or Video Clip(s) Against Deletion
1. Turn on the camera by sliding and holding the Power Switch in the
arrow direction shown near the switch for 2 seconds.
2. Press the Playback button to activate the Playback mode.
3. Press the Left/Right button to select the picture or video clip you
want to protect.
4. Press the Mode/Macro/Protect button and the icon will appear
on the LCD, indicating the picture or video clip is under protection
against deletion.
NOTE:
• The protection setting is only available for the current picture or video clip
file.
• To unprotect the protected picture or video clip, please press the Mode
button again and the icon will disappear from the LCD screen.
• Deleting One Picture or Video Clip
1. Turn on the camera by sliding and holding the Power Switch in the
arrow direction shown near the switch for 2 seconds.
2. Press the Playback button to activate the Playback mode.
3. Press the Left/Right button to select the picture or video clip you
want to delete.

then
OK
You may cancel the deletion by choosing “Cancel”.
NOTE:
• Protected file can not be deleted. Remove protection before deleting.
• When you press the Flash button to delete the protected file, two beep
sounds will be heard and “Protected” will appear on the LCD screen,
reminding of the file under protection.
