Preserves the colors seen in the weak natural light before
sunrise or after sunset.
• Camera focuses at infinity. The focus area or focus indicator
( A 6) always glows green when the shutter-release button
is pressed halfway. Note, however, that objects in the
foreground may not always be in focus.
• Motion detection (A 120) is not activated.

Slow shutter speeds are used to produce stunning night
landscapes.
• Camera focuses at infinity. The focus area or focus indicator
( A 6) always glows green when the shutter-release button
is pressed halfway. Note, however, that objects in the
foreground may not always be in focus.

Photograph flowers, insects and other small objects at close
range.
• Macro mode (A 31) will be turned on and the camera
automatically zooms to the position at the closest distance
at which the camera can focus.
• The camera can focus at a distance of 10 cm (4 in.) at the
zoom position at which F glows green (the zoom indicator is positioned before K).
The closest possible shooting position may vary according to the zoom position.
• AF area mode is set to Manual (A 100). Press the k button to choose the focus area
in which focus is acquired.
• The camera focuses continuously until focus is locked by pressing the shutter-release
button halfway.
