Adding an entry to the phone directory

In programming mode, scroll to the

Directory

menu.

Use the number pad to enter the name of a contact.

to delete characters.

to move the cursor forward to add a space.

when you have finished creating the entry.

Use the number pad to enter the phone number.

message appears and the top of the Directory menu appears on the LCD.

to modify an entry.

Dial

to dial a number from the directory.

Searching the phone directory

In programming mode, scroll to the

Directory

menu.

Use the dial pad to enter a letter.

The directory does an alphabetical search for an entry starting with the letter you entered. If an
entry is found, it appears in the LCD. If no entry is found the

No Entries For "DEFded3"

message appears.

Editing an entry in the phone directory
