8681XLR module LEDs

Type

Label

Color/State

Meaning

Green/Steady

The port is enabled but not
transmitting data.

Green/Blinking

The port is transmitting data.

TX

Off

The port transmit is disabled.

Green/Steady

The port has a link and is enabled.

Green/Blinking

The port is receiving data.

Port

RX

Amber/Steady

The cable is disconnected, the port
is disabled, or the link is down.

Green/Steady

The module has completed its
power-on self-test and software
initialization and is operating
normally.

Amber/Steady

The module slot is disabled.

Module

Online

Off

The switch power is off. If the
switch power is on, the module
is going through its power-on
self-test and software initialization.
A module in this state is not yet
functional.
