Date

This option is used to set the camera clock.
This option is available after you have set the camera clock
when using your camera for the first time. For more infor-
mation on setting the camera clock, see "First Steps: Basic
Setup" (Q 14).

The Camera Clock

The camera clock is less accurate than most watches or household clocks. Check the clock regularly
against more accurate timepieces and reset as necessary.

Date

Set the date and time (Q 14).

Time zone

Select the time zone.
The normal time zone setting is

(home time

zone).
If you select

(travel destination time zone),

the time difference is automatically calculated
and the date and time in the selected region are
displayed.

1 Press the multi selector up or down to high-

light

or

, then press I (the center of

the multi selector).
Press the multi selector down to highlight
DaylightSaving and press I. The h icon
is displayed. Selecting daylight saving time
automatically advances the time one hour. To
cancel daylight saving time, press I again.

2 Press the multi selector right to display the

time zone screen.

3 Press the multi selector left or right to high-

light a time zone (region), then press I.
