Important Safety Instructions
1 This device is to be used in temperatures of 41°F-95°F
(5°C-35°C). Temperatures exceeding these limits may
damage your HDD or the enclosure. Avoid heat sources
or direct sunlight.
2 This device can be stored in a humidity range of between
10% and 90%, and can be operated in a humidity range
of between 5% and 80%.
3 Do not connect the device to your computer without
taking precautions to avoid electrostatic discharge or
short circuits, which could damage the device or your
computer.
4 Do not place this device close to a source of strong
magnetic fields (such as PC screen, TV, radio, or speaker).
Strong magnetic fields can affect the reliability of data
transfer to and from the device.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an
equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the
product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude
to constitute a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the
literature accompanying the appliance.
