Hardware Installation

General instructions for installing the card are provided below. Since the design of system may vary, refer to your system’s reference manual for

further information, if needed.

1.

Power off your notebook computer.

2.

Insert the Serial ATA CardBus Adapter into the Type II PC Card slot of your notebook computer. Make sure it is inserted all the way in for a

solid connection.

3.

Power on your notebook computer.

Driver Installation

For Windows® 2000

1.

At Found New Hardware Wizard, click Next.

2.

Select Search for a suitable driver for my device(recommend) then click Next.

3.

Insert the driver CD, check CD-ROM drives, uncheck the other boxes, click Next, then click Next again.

4.

If the Digital Signature Not Found message appears, click Yes. Our driver has been thoroughly tested for stability and compatibility.

5.

Click Finish.
