Rheemglas ® Glasslined Storage Water Heaters are designed to fill the need
where medium quantities of hot water are required. Typical applications
include large residences, small restaurants, apartments up to 6 units, barber
and beauty shops and small office buildings. These units may be used with
separate storage tank(s). Tested over 76% thermal efficient.
Construction Features:
• Storage tank –
the tank of this water heater is
lined with a durable coating of high
temperature glass. It is built for
long life under any water
conditions.
• CFC free –
foam insulation for maximum heat
retention.
• Gasmaster ™ burner –
natural gas model.
• Magnesium anode rod
• Tamper resistant brass
drain valve
• New design flue baffle –
greater heat retention.
• Temperature control –
designed to shut off all gas if the
pilot goes out. Thermo-magnetic
automatic pilot – no moving parts
to wear out. Accurate temperature
control.
• Relief valve –
an ASME rated CSA 4.4 approved
temperature and pressure relief
valve is installed on each unit. The
valve is set for 150 PSI (1031 kPa)
pressure and 210°F (99°C)
temperature
.
Certifications and Ratings:
• These Rheemglas water heaters are CSA design certified
a) As an automatic circulating tank water heater.
b) For operation at 180°F (82°C).
c) For installation on combustible floors and in alcoves.
• Rheemglas water heaters are rated for 150 PSI (1031 kPa) working
pressure, 300 PSI Hydrostatic Pressure.
• These models have been tested according to ANSI/CSA Test procedures,
and exceed the performance efficiency and standby loss requirements of
ASHRAE standard 90.1b-2004 requirements for energy conservation.
