Before You Begin
Inserting Battery into the
Player
Slide the battery compartment door to
the side and lift up to open. Insert a AAA-
size battery with polarities corresponding
to the indications on the compartment.
Close the door after the battery is
inserted.
Important Battery
Information
• When storing the unit , be sure to
remove the battery because they may
leak and damage the unit.
• Battery may leak electrolyte if inserted
incorrectly, if disposed of in fire, or if
an attempt is made to charge a battery
not intended to be recharged.
• Discard leaky battery immediately.
Leaking battery may cause skin burns
or other personal injury.
• Dispose of battery, according to
federal, state and local regulations.
Caution
• The battery used in this device may
present a risk of fire, explosion, or
chemical burn if mistreated. Do not
separately recharge, disassemble, heat
above 100ºC (212ºF), or incinerate.
• Do not place the battery under direct
sunlight or in excessively hot places
over 45ºC (113ºF) such as the
dashboard of car.
• Dispose of used battery
promptly. Keep away from
children. Do not disassemble
and do not dispose of in fire.
