and upgradeable platform to deploy in the homes. The
SpeedTouch 985 Residential ADSL Triple-Play Gateway has
been designed specifically with these objectives in mind
and represents a new step forward when it comes to mak-
ing Triple-Play a reality.
The SpeedTouch 985 is an ADSL gateway combining mul-
tiple integrated wireless LAN access points, an integrated
4-port Ethernet switch, USB master and slave ports, an in-
tegrated VoIP telephone interface and an integrated IP set-
top-box. The SpeedTouch 985 offers seamless connection
of wired and wireless, data, voice and video from anywhere
in the home with the convenience of a consumer electron-
ics device.
