OBSERVED FAULT POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY
Motor does not run when you squeeze
trigger switch
1. Safety lock-off switch is not in forward
position
2. Extension cord connection is loose
3. Household circuit breaker is tripped
or open line fuse
1. Slide safety lock-off switch forward
before squeezing trigger switch (see
Basic Trimmer Operation, page 5)
2. Check cord connections

Motor runs, but cutting blades do not
move
