RECEIVING/READING MESSAGES
Receiving Messages
When the pager receives a message, it alerts (beeps
or vibrates) and displays the incoming message for up
to 44 seconds (depending on the alert length selected
— see “Setting the Alert Length” on Page 19). To stop
the alert sooner, press any button.
Notes:
• The alert tone’s volume gradually increases dur-
ing an audible alert.
• If you do not press a button to stop the alert,
Call Received appears on the standby dis-
play (instead of the current date and time) until
you read all new messages.
