Solution

The TV won’t

turn on

„

Charge the battery.

„

Check that the AC power cord is properly connected.

„

Test the power outlet by plugging in another appliance. If the outlet does not

work, connect the TV to another power outlet.

„

Your AC Adapter’s center tip must be set to positive and its plug must fit the

Portable TV’s DC 9-12V jack. The supplied AC adapter meets these specifications.

Poor picture

„

Adjust the built-in telescoping antenna.

„

Move to a window (if inside a structure).

„

Use an external antenna.

„

Move your portable TV away from other appliances that cause interference.

„

Make sure the TV and connected antenna are in a fixed position and not used

within a moving vehicle.

No sound

„

Turn up the volume.

„

Press MUTE on the remote to turn off mute.

„

Unplug the headphones.

Widescreen

doesn’t work

„

Some DTV stations include the side bars on their broadcast to preserve their

screen format. This is normal.

Lithium Battery Safety Instructions

„

Do not burn or bury batteries. Do not puncture or crush. Do not disassemble.

„

Recycle lithium batteries. Do not dispose of in the trash.

„

If the electrolyte in the cells should get on your skin, thoroughly wash with soap and water. If in the

eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool water. Immediately seek medical attention.

„

Use only chargers rated for lithium cells. Be sure the charger’s voltage and current settings are

correct for the battery pack being charged.

„

Charge batteries on a fireproof surface away from flammable items or liquids.

„

Batteries should NEVER be left unattended while charging. Only adults should charge the batteries.

„

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging the product and do not charge longer than

recommended. Unplug the charger when the battery is charged.

Recycle your old rechargeable batteries at one of the many collection sites in the U.S. and

Listening Safely

Do not wear headphones, earphones, or earbuds while operating a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle.

This can create a traffic hazard and could be illegal in some areas.
To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines:

Do not listen at high volume levels. Extended high-volume listening can lead to permanent hearing loss.
