Set RINGER to sound or not to
sound. You can make calls with the
ringer off, and you can receive calls
if you hear another phone on the
same line ringing or see the phone’s
lights flash.

Switch to TONE or PULSE to match
the type of service you have.

Note: If you do not subscribe to any spe-
cial services, pressing FLASH might dis-
connect the call.

Press FLASH to produce a timed switch-
hook signal for special services such as
call waiting.

Press REDIAL to dial
the last number dialed
(up to 32 tone or pulse
digits).

Press to disconnect a call.

Plug the handset cord into
the jacks on the handset
and base.

Press and hold down MUTE to carry on a con-
versation with someone in the room without
being overheard by the person on the phone.

Momentarily press
RESET to end a
call and get a new
dial tone.
