mat. PM appears for PM hours when the
12-hour format is selected.
3. Repeatedly press (or hold down) HOUR
until the correct hour appears.
4. Repeatedly press (or hold down) MINUTE
until the correct minute appears.
5. Repeatedly press (or hold down) SEC-
OND until the correct second appears.
Note: When you hold down MINUTE or
SECOND , the setting advances in incre-
ments of 10.
6. Press MODE or wait until the display
stops flashing. The clock is now set.
COUNTING UP
Each timer can count up to 29 hours, 59 min-
utes and 59 seconds. Then they reset and be-
gin counting from
0:00 00 again. You can
use the timers separately or together.
1. While CLOCK appears, press MODE .
COUNT UP1 , COUNT UP2 , and their
timers appear.
Note: If either timer does not show 0:00
00 , press CLEAR to reset both timers.
2. Press TIMER 1 (for COUNT UP1 ) or
TIMER 2 (for COUNT UP 2 ) to start
counting up.
Note: You can start COUNT UP1 and
COUNT UP2 at the same time by press-
ing TIMER 1 and TIMER 2 together.
3. Press TIMER 1 or TIMER 2 to stop count-
ing up. Press again to continue counting
up.
4. When both timers have stopped, press
CLEAR to reset them to 0:00 00 .
COUNTING DOWN
You can use the two countdown timers for ac-
tivities that require a predetermined amount of
time, such as baking a cake or playing a
game. The timers count down in 1-second in-
crements.
Note: The maximum countdown time is 29
hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
1. While CLOCK appears, press MODE
twice. TIMER 1 and 0:00 00 appear.
Notes:
• To use TIMER 2, press MODE three
times. TIMER 2 appears.
• To use both timers, press MODE four
times. TIMER 1 and TIMER 2
appear. Then press TIMER 1 or TIMER
2 to set each timer.
2. Repeatedly press (or hold down) HOUR
until the desired hour appears.
3. Repeatedly press (or hold down) MINUTE
until the desired minute appears.
4. Repeatedly press (or hold down) SEC-
OND until the desired second appears.
Note: When you hold down HOUR ,
MINUTE , or SECOND , the setting
advances in increments of 10.
5. Press TIMER 1 or TIMER 2 to start count-
ing down.
Notes:
• Both timers can be run at the same
time.
• To pause the countdown before the
timer reaches 0:00 00 , press TIMER
1 or TIMER 2 . To resume the count-
down, press the same button again.
