Press to turn the unit on and off.

SEARCH E / D buttons (p. 30)
Press and hold to begin slow forward or slow reverse
playback during the pause mode (DVD) and search
forward or backward through a disc (DVD, CD).

Receives infrared rays transmitted from the remote
control.
11. power on indicator
Lights up when power is on.
12. DVD indicator
Lights up when the disc is inserted.
