OKIFAX Fax to E-Mail:

Allows paper documents to be sent to an e-mail address
(via T.37 IP); harnesses standard Internet mail infra-
structure (SMTP, POP3, MIME, etc) for store-and-forward
fax transmission

Recipients can now retrieve their faxes from wherever
they have access to e-mail – rather than having to look
for an actual fax machine

OKIFAX Internet Fax:

Enables faxes to piggyback on an existing Internet
connection; fax documents travel over the Internet for
the long-distance portion of their transmission

Network administrators can leverage existing high
bandwidth Internet access for no additional charge

Savings accrue through the elimination of PSTN phone
lines; charges for individual fax calls are bypassed

Intra-company faxes can be sent for free over existing
corporate intranet or Internet; T.38 real-time fax supports
hand-shaking and in-call confirmation/error reports.

Corporate telecom managers can cut down on number
of analog phone lines needed for dedicated fax
machines (unless G3 faxing is retained as a fallback)

Hooking up T.38 fax machines to a fax server to reach
G3 machines eliminates individual phone lines; the fax
server needs fewer phone lines

OKIFAX Network Fax:

Can be linked directly to a network via an Ethernet card
using T.38 IP; outgoing faxes are routed to the IP
address of the receiving fax machine

Provides savings by eliminating the cost of individual
modem and phone lines for each desktop; leverage
more value from the network that’s already in place

LAN fax also enables users to share fax directories

You can set them to send, receive
and automatically route your
messages to another location while
you work in other applications. And
you can choose on-screen notification
of the progress it’s making as you
work.

Unimessage

Pro and Pro LAN

versions are integrated MFP software
packages that can be added to
OKIFAX 5780/5980 Digital Document
Processing/Network Printing and
Faxing options. They allow you to
use fax, Internet, data, copy, print,
scan and e-mail functions, all from
one system.

Choose which communication method
is best for each recipient; there’s no
need to open a different application
for each form. Unimessage Pro soft-
ware allows you to receive a mixture
of e-mails, data files and faxes into
one universal in-box.

Greater efficiency

Unimessage Pro and Pro LAN help
you to work faster and more efficiently
by working in the background.

Both versions of Unimessage Pro
software support inbound and
outbound polling, so you can take
advantage of cheaper rate periods for
your fax calls.

Stand-alone and network options

Unimessage Pro is for single PCs. For
network use, Unimessage Pro LAN —
through a host PC — enables up to
5 concurrent users to take advantage
of the power of the software and the
versatility of the OKIFAX machine to
enhance group productivity.

Additional seats can be added to
the 5-seat Pro LAN application via
10- and 25-user upgrades, making it
perfect for small departments and
workgroups.

Unimessage Pro software is the one
application for all of your document
processing needs.
