Date

This option is used to set the camera clock.
This option is available after you have set the camera
clock when using your camera for the first time. For
more information on setting the camera clock, see
"First Steps: Basic Setup" (Q 14).

The Camera Clock

The camera clock is less accurate than most watches or household clocks. Check the clock regularly
against more accurate timepieces and reset as necessary.

Set the date and time (Q 14).

Time zone

Select the time zone.
The normal time zone setting is

(home time

zone).
If you select

(travel destination time zone),

the time difference is automatically calculated
and the date and time in the selected region are
displayed.

1 Press the multi selector up or down to high-

light

Selecting daylight saving time automatically
advances the time one hour. To cancel day-
