COFFEE LATER

20 The display will show AM for morning, and PM for afternoon.
21 Set the clock to the correct time.
22 Use the h and min buttons to set the correct hour and minute.
23 Set the timer to the time you want to start brewing.
24 Press the

T button, and keep it pressed in. TIMER will show on the display.

25 Use the h and min buttons to set the correct hour and minute.
26 Release the

T button.

27 Press the

[ button once. AUTO will show on the display, and the light will glow red.

28 The clock will retain its settings until the coffee maker is unplugged. It will reset to 12:00 next

time you plug it in.

LEAVE IT ALONE

29 That’s it – leave it alone till the preset time comes round, and it makes your coffee – don’t

fiddle with it, you might upset it.

30 At the time you set, the light will change from red to green, and the coffee maker will start up.

REMEMBER

31 If you forget what time you’ve set it to, pressing the timer button will change the display to

show you the time you’ve set it to.

32 Remember to press the

[ button after you’ve set the time, to bring AUTO up on the display,

or the timer won’t start working.

A QUICK CUP

33 You can remove the carafe at any time. To prevent the filter holder overflowing, replace the

carafe on the hotplate within about 20 seconds.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

34 Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning or storing away.
35 Use the grip to open the lid.
36 Tip the contents of the filter holder into the bin.
37 Press the lever at the rear of the carafe lid, above the handle, to open the carafe lid.
38 You may clean the carafe and filter holder in warm soapy water.
39 Clean the outside surfaces of the appliance with a damp cloth.

40 Turn the filter holder to bring the slot in its rim towards the lid, then lower the filter holder

back into the coffee maker.

41 Close the lid.
42 Don’t put any part of the appliance in a dishwasher.

DESCALING

43 Descale regularly. Use a proprietary brand of descaler suitable for use in plastic-bodied

products. Follow the instructions on the package of descaler.
