6. Clean the paper tension blade with the cleaning tool provided:
a. Place an alcohol-dampened wipe over the cleaning tool.
b. Press the cleaning tool over the edge of the paper tension
blade.
c. Clean the entire length of the paper tension blade and
continue cleaning the blade until you remove the ink. You
may have to reposition the wipe as you clean. Although you
may not be able to see it, there may be ink on the back of the
blade as well as the front. It is very important that you clean
the back of the blade thoroughly.
Warning The printhead is hot. Do not touch it.
The paper tension blade has a sharp edge; to avoid injury, use
the cleaning tool provided when you clean the blade.
