Reverting Video Settings

If the set-top box is connected with any system video cable,
and an inconsistent option button is selected on the
Settings screen, the video image may appear distorted. To
revert back to previous video settings on the remote (the
default is no option selected), press the Promos button four
times, then the DTV button once. To restore optimum video
performance, return to the System Settings screen and
select the proper video setting (setting should match
video output cable choice).

OUT to TV (RF)

This connection requires a
coaxial cable terminated with F
connectors. If the TV is con-
nected with a coaxial cable,
make sure it is set to channel 3.

Note: Only one of the video outputs (Out to TV,
Composite video, or S-video) should be cabled to
TV. If multiple outputs are cabled to TV, video degra-
dation may be observed.

7

TV Ant In (RF)

Allows RF modulated (UHF or
VHF) video signals from an
antenna input, cable box, or
VCR to pass through the set-
top box to the TV monitor.
