Important Safety Instructions

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

This manual contains instructions and warnings that must be followed during the installation, operation and storage of this
product. Failure to heed these warnings will void your warranty and may lead to equipment damage or personal injury.

Installation and Location Warnings

Make sure the inverter is turned completely OFF before connecting battery cables.

• Battery cables must be installed and routed to allow for vibration and movement of the vehicle’s cab. DO NOT stretch

cables tight.

• Do not allow battery cables to contact sharp edges, rotating components or hot surfaces.
• Battery cables should be routed neatly and secured with band wraps or clamps.
• Do not route battery cables together with fuel lines.
• Do not use any battery cables other than those supplied with this kit.
• Excess battery cable length should be removed to reduce voltage drop.
• An anti-corrosion, dielectric grease should be applied to all electrical connections.
• All accessory electrical connections must be installed directly on top of the vehicle’s battery terminal post and tightened

securely. DO NOT INSTALL UNDER OEM BATTERY CABLES.

• Do not replace the fuse with any other type or style of fuse. ANY REPLACEMENT MUST BE THE SAME AS

SUPPLIED.

• Use of this equipment in life support applications where failure of this equipment can reasonably be expected to cause the

failure of the life support equipment or to signifi cantly affect its safety or effectiveness is not recommended. Do not use
this equipment in the presence of a fl ammable anesthetic mixture with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.
