Recording from a memory card

Your DMR allows you to copy JPEG images or mp3 files to your hard disc from a memory card
read in a player connected to the front USB socket. All the files in the memory card will be
recorded on the hard disc of your DMR.You can then rename them and / or delete them (To
manage your recordings, see page 43). See page 16 for connecting a compatible card reader via
the front USB socket of your DMR.

1.

Connect a card reader to the USB socket and insert the card that you wish to display, listen
to, and / or copy the sound and images.

Note: with some players and/or cards, first insert the card into the player before connecting it to the front
USB socket. With other players you should connect it with its card before starting DMR.

From the main menu (

MENU

key or in stop mode) select the Memory Card function with

Note: the Memory Card line can only be accesed when you
are using a recognised card.

With the

select:

Start to see the contents of the card.

Copy to transfer the image files and / or sound files from the memory card to the
recordable disc in your DMR.With the

,

keys and

OK

select the type of files to copy.

The contents of the card are then recorded on the recordable disc in your DMR.The copy
may take some time depending on the quantity of JPEG or mp3 files to be copied.

Note: this screen confirms that the copying of files is in progress.
To stop the copy operation, press
STOP.

4.

When the copying is completed, the main screen of the DMR is redisplayed.
