Testing the Speaker Bar (optional)
To test the speaker bar, play any audio file on the touchcomputer and verify the sound
emitting from the speakers.
NOTE: If the speaker bar is connected to the touchcomputer, the internal speakers
will be disabled. If there is an audio cable plugged into the audio output port on the I/
O panel, both internal and speaker bar speakers will be disabled.
Testing the DVD Drive (optional)
To test the DVD drive, first ensure that the DVD software application accompanying the
drive has been installed on the touchcomputer.
• To test DVD playback, insert a compliant DVD video disk into the drive and run
the software player application. Verify that video is displayed in the application
window and that sound is playing from the speakers.
• To test DVD recording, insert a compliant blank DVD disk into the drive and run
the software recording application. Verify that DVD recording is successful by
following the steps to complete a recording task.
Changing DVD region
1. From the desktop, click Start and then My Computer to open the my computer
folder.
2. Right click the drive letter (i.e., (D:) DVD/CD-RW Drive) and select Properties.
3. Select the Hardware tab.
4. Select the correct DVD drive and click properties.
5. Select the DVD Region tab.
6. Select your country from the scroll down list and select OK to set the Region
Code.
Note: Region Codes may be changed up to 5 times.
