(probability) menu lets you select functions

that are often used to calculate probabilities.

1:rand

Generates a random number between 0 and 1.

2:randInt(

Generates a random integer between two values.

3:nPr

Calculates the number of permutations for a group

of items.

4:nCr

Calculates the number of combinations for a group

of items.

Calculates the factorial of a positive integer.

6:coin(

Simulates one or more coin tosses.

7:dice(

Simulates one or more dice rolls.

(0<number<1).

takes no arguments.

rand

If you want to control a sequence of random numbers, first

store an integer “seed value” to

rand

. The calculator generates

a specific sequence of random numbers from each seed value.

To get a different sequence, use a different seed value. The

default seed value is 0.
