TP-LINK 54M Wireless G AP Client Router & Access Point provide
multi operation modes including AP / AP Router Mode / AP
Client Router Mode / Repeater / Bridge / AP Client, which are
available for small and home office to expand wired and
wireless network. Featuring eXtended Range™ technology
delivers wider coverage than standard 802.11g, it is ideal for
home and business users needing an affordable networking.
eXtended Range™
eXtended Range™ technology allows users to enjoy reliable,
broader signal coverage, usually 2-3 times further than traditional
11b/g products, and stronger signal penetration making it much
more efficient at reaching hard to reach areas such as through walls
and floors.
WISP Supported
Differing from normal wireless router, TP-LINK AP Client Router can
be set as a client of Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). As a
CPE device for WISP subscriber, the AP Client Router integrates 4
LAN ports available for sharing the internet access via an account.
AP Router & AP Client Router Mode
TP-LINK AP Client Router has two operation modes including AP
Router mode and AP Client Router mode. AP Router mode is a
normal mode for wireless signal coverage, in this mode, the wireless
router will act as both a wireless base and a router at the same time;
AP Client Router mode is a special mode for two jobs
simultaneously, receives signal from Access Point and works as
router for access sharing, this mode is normally used as signal
receiver from WISP.
Wireless Bridge (WDS)
This operation mode allows wireless routers to connect in “point to
point” or “point to multi-point” way via air, this advantage is most
apparent when there is a need to link two or more locations.
