The GPS Menu

Status

Receiving signals-ON Receiving signals-OFF

To view your GPS satellite
activity at any time, select
Status
from the GPS menu.

Here you will receive
information on Speed, Lat/
Long
position, Heading, and
Time and Date. Tap on
the Sats tab
for more
GPS satellite information.

From this window you
can get additional
satellite acquisition
information. To get a
3-D fix (required for
CoPilot to locate your
position) you must have
four satellites “in the
green” for several
seconds.

Select Receiving from the
pop-up GPS menu to activate
or deactivate GPS satellite
reception. Receiving is active
if you see a check mark.

Tap once to change the status.
If Receiving is inactive, CoPilot
will be unable to provide driving
instructions.

Open and Play GPS Tracks

1. To open a GPS track,
receiving must be turned off.
Select Open Tracks
to open a
Windows folder of your stored
.gps files.

2. To access a track, tap
once.

3. Select Play GPS
Tracks
from the pop-up
GPS menu to begin track
playback.

4. During track playback you
can select Pause GPS
Tracks
to stop the track from
playing.
