LISTENING TO MP3/WMA COMPILATIONS STORED ON CD-ROM, USB DRIVE OR SD-CARD

MP3/WMA PLAYBACK:
Your system can also play MP3 or WMA music compilations
recorded onto a CD-ROM or saved to a USB flash drive or SD-
card.
File organisation:
The files may all be stored in the ‘root’ directory of the disc/
drive or organised in a set of sub-folders.

LOADING A CD-ROM COMPILATION DISC
CD-ROM discs are loaded and unloaded in the same way as
CD discs.

Follow the instructions in the section ‘Listening to a CD’

to load or unload a CD-ROM disc.

DOCKING A USB FLASH DRIVE OR FLASH SD-CARD
The docking connectors for USB flash drives and SD-cards are
located under a cover on the top of the system.

Open the cover.

Dock the USB flash drive or SD-card.


NOTE: Both docks are polarised so Flash drives and cards can
only be inserted when correctly polarised.

SELECTING THE CORRECT MODE:
To play a compilation from a CD-ROM:

Press the

CD/iPod/USB/CARD button repeatedly until

‘CD’ is displayed.

To play a compilation from a docked USB drive:

Press the

CD/iPod/USB/CARD button repeatedly until

‘USB’ is displayed.

To play a compilation from a docked SD-Card:

Press the

CD/iPod/USB/CARD button repeatedly until

‘CARD’ is displayed.

Once the mode has been selected, the compilation will be read and
the contents of the disc/drive/card will be displayed.

MP3/WMA PLAYBACK, PAUSE:

Press the

PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button to start playing.

When a compilation is playing, pressing the

PLAY/

PAUSE/SCAN button at any time will pause playback.
Press the button again to cancel pause.

Selecting tracks:

Press the

}

or { button briefly to select the next or

previous track.

NOTE: The first press of the { button will replay the current
track.
To change folders (if there are more than 1):
If the music files are organised into folders (each folder is
usually an album) you can change between folders.

Press the

FOLDER/ARROW

or

P

button to step

through the folders.
You can then search for tracks within the folder using the

}

or { button.
