INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing our BébéSounds

®

Digital Baby Scale. As you know, it is important to moni-

tor the progress of your baby's physical development. Our Digital Baby Scale will enable you to track
your baby's growth by accurately measuring her weight and length.

We have included two growth charts published by the National Center for Health Statistics-one for
girls and one for boys. After weighing your baby you can use these charts to determine what per-
centile she or he is in based on the national average. For example, if your baby is in the 90th per-
centile for weight, that means 90% of babies of the same sex and age group in the United States
weigh the same or less than she does and 10% weigh more. However, please keep in mind that
these are only averages and should only be used as a general guide. Each baby develops at her
own individual pace. Please consult your physician if you have any concerns.
